Lest we Forget

Well, Believe it or not it's been nearly 2 months since my last blog post, apologies for that!!

I've been busy shooting all sorts, scouts doing flash mobs, pets and their owners and portraits. Oh, and getting absolutely soaked and caked in mud to shoot at a fireworks display!

This Sunday was Remembrance Sunday which I spent in London remembering those who had fallen for us, so we can live in the land we do. It was of course the centenary anniversary of WWi and hearing those guns go off at 11, hearing the silence so quiet you could hear a pin drop in the middle of London certainly made you think about those who paid the ultimate price. It was a very somber occasion. I have never felt London so calm, I've never heard Whitehall so quiet and I've never seen so many people gathered in one place standing in silence and just thinking, a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle that is London on a normal day.

Below are a small selection of the images from remembrance Sunday, I am still working through the several hundred shots from the 2 fireworks displays I went to (and endured a torrential downpour!) and the visit to the tower of London Poppies, these will follow in a separate post.

I am still taking bookings for the end of November and December so if you're looking for some unique christmas presents then get in touch! Maybe you want a shoot yourself, or maybe you want to contribute to someone you know's shoot, drop me a message and I'll get back to you.
